With so many options in pools today, you can create one that fits your swimming and entertaining style perfectly. Set out your beach chair and soak up the soothing sparkle of sunlight on water. 

For even more relaxation, many of our clients add a spa to their custom home outdoor living spaces. It can be incorporated into the pool area or set aside as a more private amenity with easy access from the master suite. Time spent unwinding in warm water will give you the vacation vibes you might be missing.  

Landscaping is another place to add the sound and sight of water: A pond, fountain or waterfall can create a focal point in your yard, making it feel miles away from the everyday.  

 

Get Sporty

 

Maybe you prefer more active vacations. A Cincinnati staycation can still get your heart rate up. Many of our custom home clients choose a golf simulator for their homes. With today’s innovative simulators, you can “travel” to dozens of famous courses and play a round or just practice your swing. Make space in your home design for a sauna, if that reminds you of your favorite resort. If you’d like to treat yourself to regular massages, include storage for a massage table, too.

No need to get on a plane or drive for hours to enjoy summer. With a custom home, you can create restful (or social) outdoor spaces. Include an exterior fireplace or fire pit for gathering with close friends or family. A gazebo could become a sweet getaway all on its own. Fully outfit your outdoor kitchen or bar to keep the fun going. Installing string lights will bring the charm of a European cafe to your Cincinnati staycation.
