Outdoor Living Trends 2020

What’s new in the great outdoors? Here are some of the new products and hot trends perfect for custom homes we’ve noticed this year.

Beyond the Tiki

Create a tropical feeling the easy way with the TK Torch from HPC Fire Inspired. The lamps have an adjustable flame fueled by natural gas. The rugged fixtures are powder-coated stainless steel for durability.

Pizza Pronto!

If you love the wood-fired oven taste, but don’t want to wait, the Alfa One oven is worth a look. Much lighter in weight than traditional ovens, it heats up in just 15 minutes burning small branches and logs. Once the oven reaches 500 degrees, you can have pizza in just 90 seconds. Perfect for bread, too.

New for Outdoor Kitchens

Recently, two manufacturers introduced new cabinetry just right for custom home outdoor kitchens in two very different styles.

If you like sleek and modern, the LINE collection from Canada’s Home Refinements by Julien will wow you. These modular cabinet units are made from stainless steel and feature an integrated handle design. The company’s cabinets also offer built-in lighting options that would be handy for food prep after dark.

For a more traditional, wood cabinetry look, Weatherstrong introduced its new Designer Series. These cabinets, built in Florida, are made of All-Weatherboard and are perfect for covered patios. The built-to-order cabinets feature marine-grade polymer doors and drawers in a variety of solid colors and wood grain patterns. See more at www.weatherstrong.com.

The Trex company is known for composite wood decking that offers very low maintenance. The company also recently introduced a line of fire vessels that includes a few that are paired with water features.
