Tim Hensley: President
An award-winning Cincinnati home builder, Tim Hensley grew up in Cincinnati and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in marketing. In 1985, he started Hensley Custom Building Group with his late brother Greg. To date, Tim has built more than 400 of the area’s finest homes, making him one of the top Cincinnati home builders.
Tim’s four decades of experience give him remarkable insights into understanding and exceeding homeowners’ expectations. Tim Hensley is driven by his passion to build lasting relationships and turn dreams into a reality. He enjoys the entire home building process, from working with customers to define their overall vision, right down to paying attention to the fine details. Together, Tim and Hensley clients build both dream homes and lasting relationships.
John Hensley: Vice President Sales & Marketing
A graduate of Moeller High School, John Hensley has worked in the family construction business since the 1990s. After graduation, he traveled around the country as a professional polo player. He played in the U.S. Open four times and was on the winning Rolex Gold Cup team two times.
After several years, John returned to Cincinnati and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, specializing in Family Business and Entrepreneurship. He is well-known among Cincinnati home builders for his quality craftsmanship and love of beautiful architecture.
Kerry Fields: Office Manager
Kerry helps keep us organized as our office manager. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing. She has worked previously as an office manager as well as an HR manager for a grounds maintenance company in Cincinnati.
Kerry has four kids who occupy all of her free time whether it’s with soccer, baseball or 4-H activities.
Laura Trapp: Design & Selections Coordinator
Laura Trapp graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in marketing before studying interior design at the Art Institute of Virginia Beach. Her passion for design is matched only by her talent for managing the unique project details for our clients.
Laura coordinates selections between homeowners and our crew in the field. She loves guiding clients through the exciting design build process and enjoys sharing her knowledge every step of the way.
Dylan Wever: Project Superintendent
Dylan, our Project Superintendent, graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He has extensive experience in home construction and engineering, and previously served as a senior staff engineer for SME in Michigan. As an always-prepared Eagle Scout, Dylan is trained in hazardous waste operations and emergency response. We enjoy having Dylan on our team: He lights up the room and is a positive person to work with.
Chris Keaveney: Project Superintendent
Chris is one of our Project Superintendents. He was born in Cleveland and grew up in Cincinnati. He attended Lakota high school and the University of Cincinnati. Chris spent time as a Property Advisor for Nationwide Insurance and owned a roofing and siding company for the last ten years. He joined the Hensley team in September 2022.
Sam Brink: Production Manager
Sam Brink is our production manager and, like other Bearcats on our team, a proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He has 7 years of experience in home building, having previously worked for Drees Homes, Elam’s Excavating and Barrett Paving. Sam enjoys working with clients: We can’t wait to have you meet him.
Brad Aylward: Assistant Site Manager
Brad Aylward has been working for Hensley Homes for nearly two decades. As our site manager, he is a jack of all trades and supports the firm with his many skills and wide range of experience.
