Mix up the dining options with a large island or peninsula where guests can be served or sit and snack. With no separation between the kitchen and eating areas, everyone can take part in the fun.

Entertaining means offering guests a warm welcome throughout your home. Maybe the kids or folks watching the game would prefer to eat at a bar near your lower level home theater. A kitchenette or wet bar in that space makes it easy to prep and store food and drinks. 

Sometimes in Cincinnati we’re lucky enough to have warm weather during the holidays: Why not serve appetizers outdoors? Our clients who are building a custom home often choose to include an outdoor fireplace. It’s the perfect place to gather when the sun sets on a mild day.
